These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OmniOCR website and OCR workspace (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. OCR processing is available without an account. If you sign in, you are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your Google account and active sessions.
2. Permitted use
You may use the Service only for lawful content that you have the right to process. You may not upload content that violates intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights; distribute malware; evade usage limits; automate abusive traffic; probe or disrupt the Service; or use OCR output to facilitate unlawful or harmful activity.
3. Documents and OCR output
You retain rights in documents you submit. You authorize us and our OCR provider to transmit and process each document only as needed to provide and protect the Service.
OCR can be inaccurate or incomplete. You must compare important names, numbers, formulas, tables, and legal, medical, financial, or safety-related content with the original before relying on it. The Service is a document-processing tool and does not provide professional advice.
4. Credits
Anonymous visitors currently receive 30 free credits per UTC calendar day. Signed-in users use their account balance and currently receive 50 free credits each calendar month. A successful OCR request costs at least one credit and scales at one credit per 5,000 provider tokens, rounded up. Failed recognition does not consume credits. Duplicate request protection does not create an additional charge for the same completed request identifier.
Credits are tied to your account, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred. We may adjust future grants or usage rates after updating the product information, but will not retroactively change completed ledger entries.
After three successful OCR requests, you may voluntarily submit one product review. Each signed-in account may claim the 50-credit feedback reward once. Duplicate submissions, shared claim tokens, eligibility bypasses, or other abuse do not create additional rewards.
5. OCR Pro subscription
OCR Pro subscriptions are not currently open. The displayed USD $5 monthly price and 1,000 credits are the current plan. Clicking Subscribe while signed in only records interest; it does not create an order, form a subscription contract, or charge you. If subscriptions open later, Creem will provide checkout and recurring billing, with applicable pricing, tax, cancellation, and refund terms shown before payment.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to maintain security, comply with law, respond to provider changes, or operate the product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every document can be recognized.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on Google, Cloudflare, Neon, Creem, and Zhipu AI/GLM-OCR. Your use of connected third-party services may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, threatens the Service or others, creates fraud or chargeback risk, or must be restricted by law. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
