Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how OmniOCR uses cookies and browser storage when you use the Service.
1. Essential storage
Essential cookies and similar storage keep the site secure and usable. They may support Google sign-in sessions, request protection, locale selection, and other settings needed for the Service. Disabling essential cookies can prevent sign-in or OCR from working.
2. Local workspace history
The OCR workspace uses browser local storage to keep recent file metadata and recognized result text on your device. This history is separate from your account and is not synchronized to the OmniOCR application database. Use the workspace's clear-history control or your browser settings to delete it.
After anonymous feedback is submitted, the browser also stores a one-time reward claim token so the 50 credits can be added after Google sign-in. The token is not placed in the page URL and is removed automatically after a successful claim. You can remove it earlier through browser settings.
OmniOCR does not load Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing trackers. Because the site uses only essential service storage and local workspace history, it does not display an analytics consent banner.
3. Third-party services
Google may use cookies during OAuth sign-in. If subscriptions open later, Creem may use cookies when you visit its hosted checkout or billing pages. Those third-party pages are governed by the providers' own policies.
4. Managing your choices
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking all storage may remove local OCR history and break sign-in or other account features.
5. Changes
We may update this policy when our browser storage or third-party services change. The date above identifies the current version.
